Configuring KDM

Hello everybody.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to tweak their login screen for KDE (which is called KDM). If you go to the system settings window and click on the "Login Screen" option, you will get a message saying "You are not allowed to save the configuration." This is a bit frustrating for me since I find the login screen a little ugly and would like to install my own.

Kdesu apparently doesn't work on FreeBSD, so without using that is there any other way to modify the login screen (aside from editing the kdm configuration file by hand - a GUI would be much more preferable)?

Thank you!

Open a Terminal and run System Setting as root

[CMD=]# /usr/local/kde4/lib/kde4/libexec/kdesu /usr/local/kde4/bin/systemsettings &[/CMD]

Thanks for the advice zhoopin. I was trying to find the location of kdesu but it was hidden from me! Using that command from the terminal worked perfectly for me, thanks!
