zathura is not found in pkg search
When I build it by ports its built is interrupted because of checksum error.
I've already seen I'm not the only one having that problem. Also bug-reports have been made already.
Does anybody know more?
Is zathura removed, not maintained,....? Coming back?

The package has been broken for a while.
I opened a bug report on this two days ago: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=263200 (that is most likely the bug report you're referring to).

It's not removed, the port is still in the ports tree. It just fails to build which is why you don´t have it available via the official binary package distributions.

A maintainer is assigned. There is a two weeks grace period before it would be considered to be marked as unmaintained.

I didn't bother looking into fixing the port as I usually prefer to see whether the maintainer surfaces.
The fix shouldn't be difficult tho.

Thanks. I'll try that.

(I'm astonished how many people use zathura  But of course, if one is a bit aware of vi-commands the handling is sophisticated, and because of poppler its rendering is best I've ever seen.)

I'm also a zathura fan for pdfs and ebooks. I didn't even realize I was reflexively using vi shortcuts till I read your post. It seems it's become automatic for me to use j for page down, etc.
