Not exactly the same thing but I have eaten plum vlaai. Very much like the fruit, could and probably should eat more of it.

I find it very important that computer guys do something else for counterbalance.
Many play an instrument, others paint, while to me cooking, and baking are also a creative and productive activity.
You just have to watch out, not to gain too much weight 🤓

The german version is called Zwetschgenkuchen very easy recipe, perfect for beginners, while yours look already advanced.
 
nah the recipe is simple, new york times plum torte, the plums went into the freezer last year and come out for this recipe every once in a while
