Why xfce4-terminal drop down menu is disabled on FreeBSD? No drop down menu tab on terminal preferences but running from terminal

xfce4-terminal --drop-down

just works.

Settings -> Keyboard -> Application Shortcuts -> Add -> /usr/local/bin/xfce4-terminal --drop-down -> Alt+t. Done.

Press Alt+t. Press Alt+t again. Good luck.

If Alt+t interferes with something, choose something else.
