Xfce-terminal - different color schemes at the same time?

Hi,

I have a may be trivial question regarding Xfce-terminal for which I could not find an answer yet. Is it possible to have different color schhemes on different windows when working with Xfce-terminal? If I change the scheme of one terminal window, this at the moment effects all the other windows, their schemes are changed to the one I chose.

Thank you for any answer,

Bernd

Re: Xfce-terminal - different themes at the same time?

Which exact part of the theme do you mean? The border with the 'close' and 'minimize' buttons? Those are handled by the window manager, not xfce-terminal itself. Because the window manager manages all windows changing the theme changes it for all windows.

Oh, it seems that I was writing nonsense. I was talking about color schemes and not themes. I simply meant that I f.e. want to open a terminal with the solarized dark color scheme and another one with f.e. a 'green on black' color scheme. When I try to do that, only the last chosen theme is kept in all the windows I opened.
