Solved wkhtmltopdf not compiling on 12.0

At the end I asked the maintainer of this port (Kurt Jaeger - thanks to him !), so I have his answer together with suggestions how to workaround this issue ;)
Maybe somebody will meet the same problem, so I publish it here:

qt4 does not build on 12 because it builds using an included
qt4.8.7, which fails because of openssl 1.1.1. There's a
wkhtmltopdf 0.13 alpha on github, which is planed to build with qt5,
but...

It probably takes quite a few patches to keep wkhtmltopdf going.
I guess you could stay on 11.2 but please note that qt4 is
eol upstream and therefore it will be deleted end of 2018 or
Q1 2019 (I'm unsure when exactly).

So I suggest to keep a ports tree from end-of-2018 and use 11.2
for now.
