Wifi Scanner Gnome

Hey,

I use multiple wireless networks on a daily basis and they are different each day. Is there a simple gnome wifi scanner that allows me to easily connect my laptop to the available network? I have been looking...

This would be very helpful. I want one similar to the one in Ubuntu where it lists available networks. This would be so great.

Thanks for any advice.

Mike

The one Ubuntu uses is called NetworkManager and unfortunately contains so many linuxisms it simply does not work on FreeBSD.

There is however net-mgmt/wifimgr but I've never used it so I don't know how well it works.

Wifimgr is quite acceptable. We ship it with our builds as the primary wifi interface. Some day, NM might get ported, but for now wifimgr definitely does the trick.
