Solved VNC

There are 2 VNC's which are the same pkgs but named differently.

• tigerVNC
• tightvnc

Both are available via ports.

But, after installing (with XFCE as DE), and trying to connect from remote computer, you end up being connected but to black/white screen (randomly)

Whats wrong?

They're not the same. They provide the same functionality but they're two different implementations.

How do you start the VNC server? Have you setup ~/.vnc/xstartup to start XFCE? By default TigerVNC will just spawn an xterm with twm as window manager.

If you like to see the same desktop, you may want to run net/x11vnc as a VNC server.
