vbox virtualbox-ose-additions-5.2.44 - Clipboard not working between Windows host and FreeBSD guest

I have a FreeBSD guest running on a Windows host through Virtualbox.

The mouse moves freely between the host and the guest, shared folders are working, but I cannot seem to make the shared clipboard work.
Is there something specific I need to setup?

I am using bspwm, would that make any difference?
