VirtualBox + external USB headphones

I am using an external USB headphone on FBSD (well you can guess why I am not using the internal Realtek audio chip.. anyways).
I use pulseaudio and switch the audio input (mic) and output (speaker) to this USB headphones.. that works fine.
But, VirtualBox does not recognize this. is this something to do with pulseaudio?
VBox does not complain about missing audio device, it just does not play any audio. I am assuming it won't even take mic inputs.

Any ideas?
 
Tried both Win and Lin :( Ensured they have drm drivers etc. . still no luck.
I am looking into changing nid for my Realtek ALC but it is too painful.. Might try bhyve but the added vnc server port is a risk.. For now will focus on VBox.
