I saw a video on YouTube about VibeOS, I didn't watch the video but instead searched for the URL.

The website has demos of the system in operation. Thought it was very interesting.

I don't know if this was created with a single user input prompt or what but it's certainly fascinating.

Though it is interesting I don't actually want to install it. 😄 No offense to the owners of the Claude system but it's a bit less interesting having an OS with it's history in LLM rather than the interesting histories of other systems and those who's ideas made them either succeed or fail.
 
It gets interesting if it works offline without closed proprietary code but I doubt it. That would make an independent OSS home AI service. Interconnect users to make it decentral.

After looking into their sources it's referencing using localhost. So, possibly just a browser based system rather than an operating system.

Edit: Perhaps it's a desktop environment. But services run on localhost? I'm not sure I get it.

This would led to "interesting" results (IMHO the same that would be expected by two salesmen of different brands in the same situation). Will them just help the user asking for assistence, or would they try to sabotage the competition's product? :-/

Selling magic is simply a lack of control. In the FreeBSD source code, there is no magic, everything is structured.

I strongly believe that if you asked Siri that question, Siri would reply "Alexa? That b**ch/sl*t. She's no good, stay away from her"
