I tried migrating from Artix Linux to FreeBSD recently, but the cursor is incredibly slow. Aside from that, I've had some ACPI errors, which I presume are related to drivers, and so is my mouse issue. It occurs across both my USB mouse and my trackpad. The ACPI error occured on the installation menu and the console-only FreeBSD too, which lead me to having to edit /etc/rc.conf to mitigate it, while the mouse lag appeared on the installation menu and XFCE.
Just wanted to mention this, but I'm getting a new laptop next month, so I'll be using this one as a FreeBSD server. I used UFS on my failed desktop attempt, but for my server, I'll be using ZFS.
