Version 15/Release PKG updates

I've had version 15/Release installed for several weeks. When the pkg update command is run, there are only 1-2 upgrades available, after not having boot for a week and a half. Yet, on v14.3, there are 50+ updates available after the same time period. It doesn't seem normal, and I am wondering how can I check to make sure the system is looking in the right place for any such upgrades? Current version is 15.0-RELEASE-p5. Thanks in advance.

The difference might be that your 14.3 system is on latest and your 15.0 is on quarterly packages. Latest is very much a moving target. Quarterly only gets security updates for a three month period, then a new quarterly is branched off from main (aka latest).
