I came across this line on the wiki for Windows on bhyve, which I apparently forgot somewhere along the way...
From https://wiki.freebsd.org/bhyve/Windows:
Can somebody clarify the reason for this, and what the the failure mode looks like--what can occur if this rule is not followed?
How does changing the vCPUs affect Windows activation on systems that are activated?
I assume these be values should be changed prior to activation, but if Windows is already activated, is there a way to go back to fix whatever problem could be caused by not following this recommendation?
Thanks

Only one or two VCPUs should be used during installation but this number can be increased once Windows is installed.
