vbox VBox Bridged network can't go between host and guest

I have a VirtualBox host on FreeBSD with two RedHat EL9 guests. Both guests are on a bridged network. The host cannot reach them. Any other host on the LAN can reach them. The guests can reach the Internet or any other host on the LAN. I've only tried with ping and ssh but the fact that other hosts on the LAN have no problem makes me think it's not a firewall or SELinux on the RH hosts.

This is only on FreeBSD's VirtualBox. Making the same setup on a Linux host, didn't have this problem. Doing some web searching hasn't yet helped, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's something simple I"m just missing. Bhyve also runs on the host, and to use VirtualBox, I have to kldunload vmm.

Other guests using NAT have no trouble reaching the host, though the host can't reach them, but that's expected.
This isn't a major problem, as I can just ssh into it from another host, but I'd like to solve it.
