Solved 'user_ip' not defined

I'm trying to add a rule in /athpf.rules and i get this error :

 #pfctl -f  /etc/authpf/authpf.rules  
/etc/authpf/authpf.rules:16: macro 'user_ip' not defined
/etc/authpf/authpf.rules:16: syntax error

as far as I know user_ip is pre-defined. right?

I suspect you have to load authpf rules through the authpf anchor for that to work (so have an 'anchor authpf/*' rule in pf.conf, and pfctl -f pf.conf).
