general/other Use SR-IOV NIC interface on host?

Hello,

I am doing some tests with SR-IOV and FreeBSD.

I have managed to get SR-IOV working on an HP DL360e G8 host with an Intel X520 (82599ES) NIC.

What I want to do now is try and use the SR-IOV VFs as NICs for the host, as opposed to using them for VMs through passthrough.

Is there any way I can get the host to load the ixv driver for the VFs?
