Andriy, thanks! It took a few minutes for me to "get it". At first, I thought you were steering me towards this, near the head of the log:

• bsd-family-tree: remove EoL whitespace

(blah … end of line (i.e. its tail).)

Eventually, I looked closely at the visuals of your link, let's try this (without BB code):

I don't care about what's seen at the tail of a link, I just want it to work – to not break when following a standard.
