Solved Upgrade to 15.0 fails seemingly due to changed SSL cert (solved: it upgraded after all)

For me, the upgrade from 14.3 to 15.0 fails seemingly due to a changed SSL cert. This doesn't really seem to be intended:

# freebsd-update -r 15.0 install

It's often not that important. Did you strike 'q' after this message to let the installation continue?
If it's really a problem for your system, you can always try to rename this file before to (re)run the upgrade.
I don't have such file on 14.3-RELEASE...
 
/etc/ssl/cert.pem is link to /usr/local/etc/ssl/cert.pem on my machine.
You can use certctl to rebuilt the trusted certificates after the installation
 
Oh, that's funny. It seems like the upgrade to 15.0 completed, and I simply didn't notice. 🤪I had misinterpreted the output to say it didn't resume, but apparently it did. :D
