Upgrade to 13.2

I don't see anything attached.

Just to be sure, please give the output of freebsd-version -kru
They all are pointing to 13.2. I have done that.

You can use fsck(8) from single user mode to scan and repair your filesystem.
Regarding the Xorg log file it's loading the configuration from /root/xorg.conf.new you may want to remove that so Xorg can autodetect the video driver.

It is not loading it from there. This is an old log. When i created that jsing Xorg -configure. I can not get a log since i can not get into X.

I also did that in single user mode. But now i can not access my users home dir. It seenms empty. But can login using root.

There is only one partition, beside the swap on the system. The hdd must have been corrupted, or something. A bad sector of some sort maybe.

Still can not loginto my account. I have followed https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/panic-ufs_dirbad.74953/ and used fsdb to clear inodes. Still can not login to my user. The user home is empty.

I have obtained some output from smartctl. It is at https://termbin.com/0h58

The output shows some pre-fail items. But the manpage for smartctl says this does not mean the disk will fail any minute. What do you think?

Should i wipe the disk?

Or should i get the installer for 13.2 into a usb and try that. To upgrade my system. Not a full install. Can the installer just upgrade the system?
