unsupported relocation type 37 in non-PTL relocation

How can it pick up some dependency that it shouldn't when the dependency graph is correct & is handled correctly? Electronic vodoo? Open sourced sorcery? Magic make(1) mystery?
It is off-topic here, but as you still misunderstand a few things, I wrote a lengthy explanation in your original thread:

(in a nutshell, dependecy graphs in make are for the build process itself and have nothing to do with library dependencies of the software built.)
