Uninstall KDE4

I wanted to try out KDE4 and KDM however there was an error during pkg_add -r kde4 (the system had to be rebooted).

At first I tried to continue though something does not seem to be working correctly.

Now I just want to remove it.

However using pkg_version and pkg_delete would seemingly take forever to remove kde and all its baggage. Am I missing something?

Is there an easier way of doing this? I have a fairly fresh install of 7.1, would it be easier to just reinstall the OS?

Not sure. What's your idea of forever?

I can't imagine that a full reinstall could be easier. You could try the pkg_cutleaves port; that will help you identify which ports can really be removed. Or maybe what you're missing is the '-r' option to pkg_delete()?
