I running a wiregurad server on a ubuntu 18.04 guest vm on top of bhyve, and NIC is PCI passthough to Intel 82580GBE.
After I upgrade server from Release 12.1 to Release 12.2, I found there is a issue relate with DNS.
Someone tell me sometime access network very slow. As result of capture packet on both side of ubuntu and DNS server, I found DNS response send to ubuntu was lost.
I have check firewall rules(DNS server not enable ipfw, and ubuntu only a DNAT rule for DNS port) and switch setting, no issue was found.
Then I remember I enable powerdxx few days ago, after disable it and lock CPU freq to highest freq, everything works fine.
Will it possible relate with underclocking? I search for a whole day on Google, and can't find anyother one have the same issue like this.
