TWM TWM no close menu

Hi I am using x11-wm/twm as my window manager and I really do like it. However I can't find a way of closing an open window, the icon on the top left of the window only iconifies the window. It would be great if instead of iconifying the window it would give you a menu so you could choose, iconify, close etc.

You can use the f.delete and f.destroy functions for that. These can be used as titlebar icons or menu items. Check the twm(1) man page for more information.

And by the way there are many resources online on the subject like this one.

Great! all sorted I added a button to close the window and programmed the 3rd mouse button to close the window.

As the author of the link you posted said: "TWM (...) deserves some respect as it was one of the first useable WM's to come into wide spread use and an integral part of the X system. "

Great resource, after all, we always leave TWM after first use!
