hyper-v The keyboard doesn't work on the login screen

The mouse works on the login screen, but the keyboard doesn't.

Does the keyboard work in the console, without X?

If it works on the console then X should just pick it up automatically. Post your /var/log/Xorg.0.log, so we can see what's being detected (or not).
