any of you ever written code against CoreImage on Mac OS? we hadn't touched swift until last weekend, and it was pretty easy to pick up coming from OCaml. just about the most annoying thing was having to go from CoreImage to CoreGraphics to get the file on disk. macos really does have unparalleled graphics support; i'm sure we could have strung this together with netpbm or whatever, but this was a great way to generate the frames for a GIF we wanted to make.
we'll spare you the actual gif, because it's unsafe for epileptics, but this was easy enough to write just using the built in docs and tinkering in the playground, pretty nice imo.
