Super slow download speed from the FreeBSD website and pkg

I am currently not on FreeBSD I recently installed FreeBSD again I had this issue every time I have switched to FreeBSD in the past. I asked this question a couple of months ago but none of the answers worked. I decided to ask again maybe this time I can start using FreeBSD. The download speed in pkg and FreeBSD website is too slow. Installing FreeBSD from this link I get an average of 350kb/s. I download games or other packages with 6.0MB/s. I haven't noticed this slow download from any other website. I tried the fastest_pkg package after booting up to FreeBSD but the fastest one it showed was what I was currently using which is only 350kb/s. I also tried to only use ipv4 but that also didn't work.
 
Thanks, I am currently not on FreeBSD so I cannot test, do these links work for the main repo because fastest_pkg showed a maximum of 350kb/s a couple of days ago when I tested it? Also when downloading from the mirror the download speed changes, it sometimes goes as low as 1.1mb/s to as high as 5.4mb/s, testing it from the nearest mirror.

That should happen automatically through DNS. Maybe try a wider selection.

I'm unclear as to whether the OP genuinely meant 350kb/s (~35kB/s) or 350kB/s - it's rare to give download speeds in bits/second. A lot of us, years ago, used to update FreeBSD on dialup at ~4.7kB/s; 35kB/s is perfectly feasable and 350kB/s a complete non-issue IMO. At lower speeds it becomes more convenient to pre-cache package files before doing the actual update.
 
Thanks for the answers. I have installed the freebsd with a decent internet speed from the mirrors but unfortunately pkg is still very slow. I have once again tried fastest_pkg to determine the best connection but I still get very low internet speed from other mirrors. The download mirrors worked really fast tough. Is there anything I can do to make the pkg faster SirDice ?

I think this is something I have because no other people I know that are close to my location who use freebsd have this slow connection to pkg's repositories. Anything I can try to make this faster?
