Solved [Solved] Unexpected server shutdown

Hi,

I found my server off power this morning when I came to work. It wasn't responding and the service crew had to turn it back on again. At the moment I am rather clueless on what might have caused the shutdown - it definitely wasn't me :D

this is on uname -a

I've been rebuilding some ports due to the textproc/libxml2 update, but I've certainly not commanded a shutdown on Sunday. Are there any circumstances where a server shuts itself down(creepy thought, I know)?

So, any ideas? I am willing to share more logfiles, just tell me what you need ...

Alas, I was told a broken network cable caused the shutdown. I am unable to imagine why though; but I will accept this as a fact and hope that this doesn't happen again.
