Just a friendly "head's-up" to anyone that runs into upgrade troubles like I did.
I upgraded textproc/docbook-xml from version 4.2_1 to 4.2_3, as that was the current version in the ports tree. Unfortunately, for me, x11/kdelibs4 subsequrently complained about not finding the required dependency. Yet DocBook-4.2_3 certainly appeared installed.
Port downgrading manually by copying the older version of the distfile, Makefile, distinfo etc from another machine seems to have hurdled that obstacle. It's still building as I type.
Not sure if anyone else will get tripped on this. But, saving off the 4.2_1 version beforehand just in case might help someone else avoid a big headache.
