jails Snapshot linux on jails

Hi if I'm not sure that is correct subforum.
As per title, can I use snapshot fron my linux for create jail? If I understand right, from jails I can use graphical programs and so I can solve any little problems with some programs
 
Storage is perhaps a better place. But for now "Emulation and Virtualization" would do, as it's about jails and/or the Linux compatibly.

What do you mean by "snapshot"? How, what kind?
