slow SLAAC after reboot?

Last week I have changed my former static IPV6 assignment to SLAAC by editing rc.conf:

ifconfig_ix0_ipv6="inet6 accept_rtadv"
...
ifconfig_ix0_alias4="inet6 fd00::3/64"

(the last alias is a fallback)

What I have noticed is that SLAAC works, but only if the router sends it periodic updates. After a reboot FreeBSD does not ASK for an address, V6 is not available for many minutes (thats what the fallback is good for).
Other boxes (Windows, Linux etc) instantly get SLAAC Infos on reboot.

So what am I missing in FreeBSD ?
(btw: 15 now, I have waited with this question until the update, but it already occured with 14.3)
Is there a special ifconfig line that forces the request???

Update: found "need to enable rtsold" by reading the manual (used to run rtadvd for years, did not know that there was a client-counterpart, sorry). So: problem solved, ignore/delete/forget this question
