I have a zpool with 16 Seagate SAS 500GB hard drives in two 8 drive vdevs using raidz2.
I am happy with my setup so far. I get around 270-330 MB/sec in zpool testing.
My machine is SM X10DRI with dual 2650LV3 and 64GB ram.
Tonight I added two NVMe of 512GB.
What would be the best arrangement for general purpose usage.
One NVMe for SLOG and One NVMe for L2ARC? I was thinking mirrored SLOG's but unsure which arrangment would be best.
My NFS transfers are quite slow at 10MB/sec and I wounder what I could do to increase that.
