bhyve Since FreeBSD update Bhyve guests can't ping outside vm

I've had vm-bhyve working very well for quite awhile. I did the latest freebsd-update. I haven't run the bhyve hosts for awhile, but I'm pretty sure this worked before said update. https://www.freebsd.org/security/advisories/FreeBSD-SA-24:15.bhyve.asc

Anyway, I started a bhyve guest and it couldn't ping the host, the router, or the internet. This is a Linux guest and running ip add sh shows the correct address. I tried destroying and re-creating the switch, I haven't tried anything else yet. The guest boots without problem and can be reached with vm console or vncviewer. I'm not quite sure where to start trouble shooting this. The web searches I made only show results from awhile ago and don't seem relevant. I tried with a couple of other bhyve guests, though I haven't tried installing a new one yet. (I'll do a quick test of installing a new one after I post this.).

I'd be grateful for any insight. As I said, networking appears normal when running ipconfig on the guest, but no guest can reach the host machine, the router, or the Internet out of the guests that I've tried. (I've not tried them all yet)

EDIT: I just tried installing a new bhyve machine and it too, could not get an IP address. I tried both manually and with DHCP.

Ok, it seems it was a temporary glitch. I tried restarting the workstation with no luck, tried restarting services netif and routing and that seemed to have no effect but a few minutes later after starting one of the guests that was giving me trouble, all is back working as it should. So, I dunno if it's a NIC that is problematic (it has been in the past, but not for a lonnnng time, and always fixed by restarting netif and routing) or something else, but it's fixed.
