Shellshock - pkg upgrade bash

I think it's unacceptable that updates are only run once a week. What could we do to speed this up?

That's not exactly true, is it? pkg upgrade came on the weekend, I think, and another package got upgraded before Wednesday as well.
So if we are able to upgrade pkg for some reason, we should be able to upgrade one of the most sever security bugs in this decade asap too.

Anyhow, one can draw his/her own conclusion about how the bash bug was handled in regards to the FreeBSD binary package system and how FreeBSD treats security risks.

I for one switched to ports :-(. (and back to Debian on a low power machine)
