Colleagues, please tell me if the BSD build of Sendmail can do ODMR aka ATURN (described in RFC-2645).
Let me explain what I want.
I have a mail server. On some other machine there is a relay protecting it, which is described as a relay and which can receive mail and put it in a queue. Also send my outgoing mail from his address.
Let's assume that main channel of the server went offline, but through some other channel, from an arbitrary address, the server connected to its relay, took mail from relay's queue and sent outgoing mail from server's queue.
To do this, you need to connect to port 336 of the relay and say ATRN there.
Can Sendmail do this?
