When I send mail to my own hosted domain from either Gmail or Yahoo, I do not get any delivery failure messages. At the same time, I do not see the mail on the system too. Log is given below for reference.
Note: domain and ID are masked as ZZZZZ and YYYYY. Yahoo ID is masked as XXXXX.
