Solved Screenlock opens with root password

I thought there is a bug in x11/xlockmore and opened PR 201871

But this happens with x11/xscreensaver as well.
Could this be a bug in x11/xorg?

The user account is a member of both wheel, operator groups.

This is by design. The root user is always able to unlock a user's screensaver.

Before I created this post I wondered whether its just like root_shell>su - user.
How come GNU/Linux distributions don't have it? Or do they disable it?

I was dizzy when I first encountered this, then checked whether other random passwords worked.
