Solved Samba-4.11/4.12 info or porting status?

I've noticed that FreeBSD currently only has a package/port for Samba-4.10.x. I tried searching Google and Bugzilla to see if there is any information on when Samba-4.11.x will come to FreeBSD, but I cannot find anything. Does anyone know of a resource (such as a bug, blog post, or code review spot) where a "samba411" port/pkg is being worked on or discussed that I can track?

Edit: Any pointers or guides on updating a port myself, or creating an entirely new port would also be helpful to maybe I can give it a go myself.

Note: Updated title since Samba-4.12 was recently released.

It would be interesting. I have had no end of issues when provisioning under 4.10. I.e. it just never has. Can you actually provision any domain under 4.10?

You could e-mail the existing port maintainer or if wanting to help with ports I believe the standard thing to read is https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/

I too would love to assist with the ports but time prevents me.

I have just managed to solve an issue regarding domain provisioning on net/samba410 relating to the samba410/sysvol and samba4/sysvol directories.
Which appeared to be causing the
set_nt_acl_no_snum: fset_nt_acl returned NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER. error https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12912

The only bit I'll add before marking this solved is don't set hide special files = yes in your config. Took me over an hour tracing that one down. Deleting files on a share from a windows system acted like they were successfully deleted, except they weren't on the server, so they "reappeared" a few seconds later.
