RTL8922AE Network Adapter suddenly stopped being able to scan networks

I’ve been using FreeBSD on a laptop for a few months, and Wi-Fi had been working great, but today the driver has stopped working. Looking in dmesg, the rtw890 driver logs some spam of rtw89_hw_scan_offload failed ret 60, poll HWSI is busy, and [TXPWR] check mac enable failed

Ifconfig shows a lo0 and wlan0 interface, with a status of ‘no carrier’
