Rockpro64 login issue after successful image install FreeBSD-14.0-ALPHA2-arm64-aarch64-ROCKPRO64-20230818-77013f29d048-264841.img

New to BSD forum, so I hope I am following community guidelines by posting this subject here.

Downloaded
FreeBSD-14.0-ALPHA2-arm64-aarch64-ROCKPRO64-20230818-77013f29d048-264841.img.xz
Used Zip 7 to get image file.
The image file was downloaded on a windows 10 machine.
Used Etcher to put image on SDCard.
I did not get a 100% verification from etcher, but the image burned, so I decided to try and install.
Installed and got the following prompt.

"FreeBSD/arm64 (generic) (tty0"

I have tried several combinations of
"login: root"
"Password: root"
"Login incorrect"
"login: Login time out after 300 seconds"

I'm stumped. I am looking high and low for docs on this install. I guess I am not looking in right place.

Hints?
Comments?
Direction?

Thanks up front for help.

Yea single user mode user = root with no password.
Arm images root account with root as password set.
Additionally freebsd account with freebsd as password set.

Thanks so much for your help. After trying several different passwords, I gave up. I the decided to reflash the eMMC for the RockPro64. Instead of using balena Etcher I used Rufus to burn the 13.2 ISO. Rufus did the burn no, with no grousing. Etcher was painful. I think I am switching.

I plugged in eMMC to RockPro64 and saw nothing on HDMI. After reading a bit on RockPro docs, it is possible that SPI had issues so you have to short J4 power on for 2 or 3 secs and so that SPI can be reprogrammed if necessary (I have not idea if it needed it or not). I then unjumpered. Powered on and saw nothing, SO I pressed reset and Wa La,.. I new burn!!!

I'm up and running FreeBSD 13.2 on RockPro64.
