quick-lounge-applet

After the recent upgrade the quick-lounge-applet started 'destroying' the gnome-panel. Right after upgrade couldn't start at all. I deleted all the setting in .gconf and it started fine but after I added quick-lounge-applet it went haywire again constantly restarting flashing and so on. Anybody with the same experience and a way to fix that ? :) I really like quick-lounge-applet and don't want to part with it ;)

The code hasn't had an update for almost two years. It's possible that it doesn't like the recent changes in Gnome. I suggest contacting the people that created it.

I'm going kind of up the ladder :) . First here then the maintainer (who can have ties with the guy that wrote it) and then the guy that actually wrote the applet if i have to :)

PS: Oh and as the last step I'll fix it myself ;)

'quick-lounge' sounds like me after work. Is that what it's called?

Quick Lounge Applet - A Quick Launch Applet for the GNOME Panel

Weird. Or Wierd.

Then you're doing it wrong. There's nothing quick about lounging :e

Haha.. Yeah, I thought it was some mashup of quick-launch too but the tool is actually called quick-lounge-applet.

So, considering that quick-lounge-applet has apparently been orphaned for some time now, have you managed to fix it? I've run into the same very annoying problem and am hoping as well not to have to abandon the applet.
