question about screensaveer in xorg and awesome of freebsd15 ?

dear all :
i have used xorg with awesome WM for Desktop GUI in freebsd15 .. now i have used xscreensaver 2025 v6.12 . i think this guy waste so much power and cpu. so , do you have some advisement about screensaver for me ? thanks.
 
Do you want screensaver with lock or just "turn the monitor off after 10 minutes of idle time"?

If it's just turn monitor off, add "xset dpms 0 0 600" to your .xinitrc or .xsession file.

If you need locking ability someone else will need to answer I disable screensavers and do the xset command.

thanks for your solution. very good . do i need to write a script to poweroff display and lock window?
my mind was , when i lock the window. the screen will poweroff . when i want to unlock window , the screen will power on automaticlly.. thanks.
