Solved Poudriere aborting on py-certbot error

I get the following error in poudriere:

Error: security/py-certbot depends on nonexistent origin 'devel/py-configargparse@py27'; Please contact maintainer of the port to fix this.

I contacted the maintainer of security/py-certbot several days ago but have heard nothing. I have looked at the Makefiles for the two packages but can't see anything wrong. I gather something called Flavors has been introduced to Python but can't make head or tail of what I've read in other posts.

I even upgraded my build VM and jail from 10.3-RELEASE to 11.1-RELEASE in the hope it was an oversight concerning compatibility with the older release, but all to no avail.

What do I have to do to make poudriere work again?

security/py-certbot just built here.

What ports-mgmt/poudriere version are you using? You need at least the 3.2, the one which does support the recent added ports FLAVORS.

See /usr/ports/UPDATING.

If you will be installing/upgrading ports-mgmt/poudriere from packages, you need to be using the latest repository, quarterly still does not have the necessary pkg.

I should have thought of that! I know how long it takes for packages to be built, which is one reason I'm building my own!
