Solved pkg install eclipse (package not found?)

Hello. I'm trying to install the eclipse package: https://www.freshports.org/java/eclipse and the ports page tells me to: pkg install eclipse, but the package can't be found. I tried to force a update of the FreeBSD repository and I still can't find the package. How to fix this? Thank you.

Apparently java/eclipse is not available in the quartely repository but it is in the latest (don't ask me why! ) So, you can switch to latest and use it, or build from ports.

To switch to latest you need to create a this file:

/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD.conf

FreeBSD: {
  url: "pkg+http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/${ABI}/latest",
  mirror_type: "srv",
  signature_type: "fingerprints",
  fingerprints: "/usr/share/keys/pkg",
  enabled: yes
}

You could also take a look at pkg.conf(5).
