PHP - which version?

I'm going to install PHP on my FreeBSD server, and I see there are 3 different versions. Tried to search whats the difference, with no luck. Whats the difference between "tidy", "session" and "opcache"...?

The default is 8.1 at the moment. So that would be my recommendation.

Highest non-development version (8.2) you can get that works with everything else you have installed.

I’m using both PHP 8.1 and 8.2 in production and both are working fine.

Advantage of PHP 8.2 is that its EOL is further in the future compared to 8.1. But depending on what you want to run with PHP it may cause you issues.
