photo manager recommendations

hello all,
i recently had to backup my phone pictures (5 years!) and i'm with thousands of pictures on my arms so to speak...
i'd like to sort them rather intelligently if i can, so i'm looking for a piece of software which does that (and *just* that, no editing or whatever, i have other things for that thanks...)
and recommendations? i'm quite fond of very light stuff, TUIs (but here it kinda not work ahah)...
also if anyone came up with a good way to sort: chronologically, tag-like, etc. with my film photography scans i was quite anal (used darktable and a set of custom made folder structure, plus tags with film, camera, project, etc.) but for phone pictures i'm more lenient.
and if anyone is interested i re-started to put pictures on the web after the instagram debacle here: https://pixelfed.social/antihern (and on the foto app but they are the same picts) slowly and leisurely.

I’ve been using https://www.nixplay.com/ to share albums with family, and it works well if you want to keep things organized and easy to display. Once my photos are sorted locally, I just upload the ones I want to show and they pop up on the digital frame instantly. It's been handy for keeping distant relatives in the loop without needing them to fuss with apps or logins.
