What do you mean by that? Settings are done in /etc/rc.conf and if you save that file the settings are permanent.

I mean if i run freebsd in live mode and install some apps, my changes will save or not?!

Edit: My friend told me i can install FreeBSD on my USB and use it anywhere without losing changes...

If the media is writable, yes. It obviously doesn't work for a live CD/DVD as they are read-only.
