I don't know if this is quite the place to share my issue, but here it goes. The "ALT" key binding is closing applications. It is that simple.
I tried Googling around to see what the possible issue could be, whether if it was X.Org issue or a window manager issue, but to no avail.
It might be prudent to add that I recently updated all my installed ports, and this included to X.Org 7.4. I have also noticed an incessant Xlib error complaining about a "Generic Event." However, I did some research on this and it seems to be harmless.
I would greatly appreciate any input to help solve this rather annoying problem. Thanks in advance.
