Solved pci0: <dasp, performance counters> at device 8.2 (no driver attached)

I've looked in google before posting this thread and I cannot find my answer.

Also what is really strange when I enable in BIOS option for X2Apic Mode system won't boot. It keeps posting messages
Code:
ahcich9: Timeout on slot XX port 0
ahcich9: is 00000002 cs 00000000 ss 000000000 rs 200000000 tfd 50 serr 00000000 cmd 0004dd17
(aprobe0:ahcich9:0:0:0): ATAPI_IDENTIFY. ACB: a1 00 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 00 00 00
(aprobe0:ahcich9:0:0:0): CAM status: Command timeout
(aprobe0:ahcich9:0:0:0): Retrying command. 0 more tries remain
...

I will really appreciate if somebody can point me in the right direction. I wanted to post here outpot from pciconf -lv but it exceed 25000 characters so if it's needed please specify on what line do I post here i.e using | grep "..."

Thanks in advance

est: CPU supports Enhanced Speedstep, but is not recognized.
I was seeing this after I have disabled SpeedStep in BIOS (because of the issues with it even on Windows host, getting endless WHEA BSODs), so I'd say it's not a bad thing on a server.

I get most of those messages on my R430s and no obvious ill-effects. I don't have any GPU installed so think most of the messages would have been there before you put the card in.

I've not got SpeedStep working on Dell servers (and some Supermicros, so not just a Dell thing) - but as yuripv79 says usually you'd want servers running at max speed.

I've tried things like this before, but they didn't seem to help, and I was more worried about making something else worse:

But you might find something there that helps (do let us know).

For the VPD messages, that seems to be a spurious warning:

e.g. https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/...ns-vpd-access-failure-during-reboot-of-sles15

I get the dasp no driver warnings but again, haven't noticed anything not working because of them.

FreeBSD has been rock solid on a number of Dell R430s (still got a few running in production). Dell have just announced the Rn60 range so the Rn30 range is getting a bit long in the tooth!

I have followed your link and it helped me. All changed in BIOS. Also on Dell R430 there was a problem with Perc 330 Mini under FreeBSD and did have to google how to solve it. Turns out it was driver issue. Using mrsas driver resolved it. Thanks for your help and case can be now closed.
