That's been available for a while now.

I would have preferred if it were available in FreeBSD ports & packages.

For convenience:

The word legacy is not ideal. It might be changeable, after the FreeBSD Project rationalises (hopefully ceases) its use of the word in relation to supported systems.

I get a segfault when I tried to run it.

GTK2 or GTK3? Which version of FreeBSD?

The GTK3 version does run for me on FreeBSD 15.0-CURRENT, however the second site that I visited didn't work as expected.

First was <{link removed}>, via <{link removed}>. The BBC page appeared OK, at a glance.

I can't disclose the address of the second site, however there's a problem with the area surrounding a form field. In Pale Moon 32.5.0:

In Konqueror:

… the official page …

The version from the official download page describes itself as unofficial, and directs you to <{link removed}>, where 'Download now' leads to the page from where you already downloaded.

IIRC this is negligible; a known issue.
